Taylor Swift may have just released the pop record of the year, but while other celebrities are gushing over Taylor's new album, Swifty's own musical tastes veer a little bit more hardcore.
That's Taylor lip-syncing to Kendrick Lamar's "Backseat Freestyle" and we think it's safe to say the lyrical content is a bit outside of her wheelhouse.
"My mind is on cloud nine, and this .9 is never on vacation," Taylor begins.
The first part is probably true, considering she just sold over a million copies and announced the 1989 world tour, but we have our doubts about Taylor carrying a cat in one hand a loaded piece in the other.
But even with Taylor spittin' lines about busting caps, the most interesting thing about this video is where it ends:
"Poppin' pills in the lobby," Taylor raps as the video cuts off before the line, "And I pray they don't find her naked."
Given that Taylor has declared herself a "true feminist," it's not surprising that she chose to cut the line that seems to be about a dead prostitute.
Plus, Taylor's biggest fear is being framed for murder, so she can't go around videotaping her own false confessions.
Obviously, Taylor is just having fun with a great song, but if she wants to rap on Instagram, next time we'd recommend something a bit more feminist friendly for the sake of her public image.
Might we suggest Nicki Minaj's "Anaconda" complete with twerking?
