Now it seems that was just a bit of wishful thinking generated by Taylor and/or Katy's PR people, because sources close to Ms. Perry say that she's loving every second of the feud and has no plans to make peace.
"Taylor's tried to reach out to make amends to Katy, but Katy is not going to accept it, nor is she interested in making friends with Taylor," says one insider.
"She wants nothing to do with Taylor. In Katy's mind, Taylor shouldn't even attempt to make a friendship happen. That ship has sailed."
Considering the feud started when Taylor released the single "Bad Blood," which many interpreted as a shot at Katy, it's fitting that Perry is planning to respond in song form.
"Of course she will leave room on her album for a diss track about Taylor," says the source. "Katy loves controversy, and the feud with Taylor is great for that. She is definitely going to write a new song based on how two-faced she thinks Taylor is."
Of course, Katy already passed up a prime opportunity to stir the pot by not dissing Taylor during her Super Bowl halftime show, but a solid diss track could be even more effective.

Swift herself them chimed in with the following message:

Jaime and husband Kyle Newman have a son together named James Knight Newman. Earlier this month, they revealed they are expecting again via one of the cuter pregnancy announcements you'll ever see.
Swift, meanwhile, just told Great Britain's The Telegraph that she'll "probably still be single" at age 30, so it doesn't sound as if any children are in her near future.

"In five years, I'll probably still be single, let's be honest," Taylor says. "No one's going to sign up for this and for everything that goes with it. I don't know what's going to happen if I'm ever content in a relationship - no idea how that's going to work."
Taylor goes on (referring to herself in the third person, for some reason) to hilariously describe her future as a lonely cat lady:
"In five years time, she'll be so afraid of everything, she doesn't leave her house. She's just surrounded by cats. So many cats, they've divided themselves into armies and she wanders around lint-rolling the house that no one's going to sit on because she's afraid to have people over."
So does this mean we can put the rumors of Taylor dating Tobias Jesso, Jr. to rest, or is Swifty just trying to throw us off the trail? She is a crafty cat lady, after all.

The magazine claims Swifty showed off her "sexy moves" (we're believing this story less and less with each detail), as she and Harris danced to Jay Z's "99 Problems."
Yeah, there are a whole slew of reasons that we suspect this "report" is BS, but we'll just stick to the top two:
Harris has a long-term girlfriend, and Taylor ain't no homewrecker.
Taylor loves to dance, but there aren't a lot of "sexy moves" in her repertoire.
We're pretty certain that despite Gaga's prophecy, Taylor is still very much enjoying her "cats and female BFFs" phase.

Yes, if you tell Taylor she looks like a million bucks, you're selling her short by about $39 million. We guess that would be enough to make anyone feel self-conscious.
On the flip side, we can't imagine in a million years (or even 40 million for that matter) that they're worth that on the basis of being essential to her career.
For some reason, we doubt millions of Swifties would abandon her if she were mangled in a tractor accident or suffered some sort of cellulite tragedy.
